All of this should be driven by your overall business plan (you do have a business plan, don’t you?), and you should use the data you collect to help you keep the plan constantly updated.
Starting a business entails understanding and dealing with many issues—legal, financing, sales and marketing, intellectual property protection, liability protection, human resources, and more. A well-thought-out business plan can make the difference between having your loan application accepted or rejected. It should also include certified statements of your net worth and several credit references.
